Norwegian Post makes it cheap for collectors
In October, the famous Nordia exposition for Nordic countries will be held in Norway.
For the organizers and philatelists in the countries concerned, but also for the postal services involved, the event is of great importance. One would think that a special issue would be appropriate. A new stamp will indeed be issued, but the Norwegian post services have rather chary plans as the series dedicated to Niels Henrik Abel, which was issued earlier on, will be provided with a simple, two-line, black print "Nordia 2002". The release is being announced in the Norwegian magazine "Norsk Filatelistisk Tidsskrift". So, the Norwegians seem to be very happy with it...
